Meet Suzie, a dynamic force in the music industry who embarked on her journey from studying BA Popular Music Studies at Leeds College of Music to making her mark in the vibrant city of London at just 21. With a career spanning various facets of the music business, Suzie honed her skills in music management, working with renowned artist, songwriter, and producer managers.
She further delved into the industry’s heart at Universal Music’s merchandise company, Bravado, where she served in A&R, working alongside global icons like Take That, Kasabian, Lana Del Rey, Florence & The Machine, and Little Mix. Despite her bustling career, Suzie always remained true to her passion for music, balancing her roles as an independent music manager and a professional musician, enchanting audiences worldwide with her piano and vocal performances.
It was her firsthand experience as a self-employed musician that inspired Suzie to establish Mothers of Music, a platform dedicated to supporting and empowering fellow musicians in navigating the challenges and opportunities of the industry. Armed with a profound understanding of both the business and performance aspects of music, Suzie is committed to helping self-employed musicians thrive and ensure every client receives exceptional music for their special events.

Ella Jones, a piano vocalist and vocal coach hailing from London, brings over two decades of experience in the music industry. With a rich performance history and a track record of coaching both aspiring and seasoned singers, Ella’s musical journey is deeply rooted in her upbringing. Coming from a musical background, she was raised in north London, delving into piano lessons at the age of four and pursuing studies in piano and singing up to A-levels. Transitioning from formal education, Ella embarked on a music career, releasing albums under her own label as well as through BMG and Virgin.
Passionate about helping individuals discover their voice, she has dedicated 20 years to coaching privately and with the Camden music service. Throughout her career, Ella has cultivated a vast network within the industry, facilitating a smooth transition into her partnership within Mothers of Music.
Two self-employed musicians, Suzie and Ella, met while playing at a prestigious London music venue. They founded Mothers of Music, an agency which creates bespoke music offerings for unique events. Their drive in supporting talented musicians creates opportunities for talented musicians at various events and venues creating the ultimate performance experience for the audience.
